Launch of DAO Voting Service for MBL Holders

Hello, this is MovieBloc.
DAO Voting Service where MBL holders can voice their opinions on the operational direction and major decisions of the MovieBloc Foundation is launching.
DAO Voting has been established to transparently gather the opinions of MBL holders and reflect them in the Foundation's decision-making process.
The first voting agenda will be announced through a separate notice as soon as it arises.
 

How to Participate in DAO Voting

Once a voting agenda is published, you can participate by following these steps:
1.Connect Wallet: Access the MovieBloc Foundation website on PC and connect your ONTO Wallet.
2.Review & Select Agenda: Review the voting agenda and available options, then select your choice.
3.Wallet Signature & Complete Vote: Complete your vote by signing with your ONTO Wallet. Voting requires only a single signature, and no assets in your wallet will be moved.
 

Important Notes Before Voting

• Voting Eligibility: Only wallets holding MBL at the designated snapshot block for each agenda can participate. If you did not hold MBL at that specific time, you cannot participate in that particular vote. However, you will be able to vote on future agendas if you meet their eligibility criteria.
• Voting Weight: Voting weight is determined by your MBL holdings at the time of the snapshot block. Even if your holdings change during the voting period, your voting weight will remain the same.
• Votes Cannot Be Modified: Once submitted, votes cannot be edited or canceled.
• Supported Environment: Voting participation is available on PC only. You can check the agenda and voting results on mobile devices.
• Utilization of Voting Results: DAO voting serves as an opinion-gathering process for the Foundation's decision-making. Final decisions will be made by the Foundation taking the voting results into consideration, and the outcome will be disclosed on the corresponding agenda page.
 

Transparent Voting & Result Disclosure

MovieBloc DAO Voting allows anyone to verify the voting process and its results.

• Agenda Integrity: A unique hash value is generated for each agenda, and the agenda content cannot be modified once voting begins.
• Signature-Based Voting: All votes are signed by wallets based on the agenda hash and option hash, ensuring the integrity of voting details.
• Disclosure of Voting Details: After voting ends, the results will be disclosed along with the participating wallet addresses, selected options, voting weights, and timestamps.
